Section 5 - Connecting to a Wireless Network Connect to a Wireless Network Windows® 8 WPA/WPA2 It is recommended to enable wireless security (WPA/WPA2) on your wireless router or access point before configuring your wireless adapter. If you are joining an existing network, you will need to know the security key (Wi-Fi password) being used. To join an existing network, locate the wireless network icon in the taskbar, next to the time display. Clicking on this icon will display a list of wireless networks which are within connecting proximity of your computer. Select the desired network by clicking on the network name. To join an existing network, locate the wireless network icon in the taskbar, next to the
