Section 3: Configuration Step 1: Configure LAN Settings DHCP Select this connection if you have a DHCP server running on your network and would like your camera to obtain an IP address automatically. If you choose DHCP, you do not need to fill out the IP address settings. IP Address Enter the fixed IP address in this field. Subnet Mask This number is used to determine if the destination is in the same subnet. The default value is 255.255.255.0.
