Prerequisites Remove the base cover. Procedure 1 Disconnect the coin-cell battery from the system board. 2 Peel the tape that secures the coin-cell battery cable to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Peel the coin-cell battery off the palm-rest assembly. 45

Disconnect the coin-cell battery from the system board.
