Procedure 1 Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the power-adapter port bracket to the palm-rest assembly. 2 Lift the power-adapter port bracket off the palm-rest assembly. 3 Lift the power-adapter port off the palm-rest assembly, moving it away from the display hinge. 4 Peel the tape that secures the camera cable to the system board and disconnect the camera cable. 5 Peel the tape that secures the display-cable connector latch to the system board. 6 Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board. 7 Open the display at an angle of 90 degrees and place the computer at the edge of the table. 8 Remove the two screws (M2.5x4.5) that secures the display hinges to the palm-rest assembly. 65

Prerequisites

Remove the

Procedure
1
Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the power-adapter port bracket to the palm-rest assembly.

Lift the power-adapter port bracket off the palm-rest assembly.

Lift the power-adapter port off the palm-rest assembly, moving it away from the display hinge.
4
Peel the tape that secures the camera cable to the system board and disconnect the camera cable.

Peel the tape that secures the display-cable connector latch to the system board.
6
Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.
7
Open the display at an angle of 90 degrees and place the computer at the edge of the table.
8
Remove the two screws (M2.5x4.5) that secures the display hinges to the palm-rest assembly.
