CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface. CAUTION: To help prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery (see Removing the Battery) before working inside the computer. NOTE: The availability of the TV tuner card varies according to region. Removing the TV Tuner Card 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the battery (see Removing the Battery). 3. Remove the keyboard (see Removing the Keyboard). 4. Remove the palm rest (see Removing the Palm Rest). 5. Remove the hard drive (see Removing the Hard Drive). 6. Remove the palm rest bracket (see Removing the Palm Rest Bracket). 7. Remove the 3-in-1 Media Card Reader (see Removing the Media Card Reader). 8. Disconnect the three TV tuner card cables from the connectors on the TV tuner card. 9. Release the TV tuner card by removing the two screws that secure the card to the system board connector. 1 TV tuner card cables (3) 2 TV tuner card 3 screws (2) 10. Lift the TV tuner card out of the system board connector.
