Status Bar At the top of your smart phone screen, there is a thin bar known as the Status bar. The Status bar displays icon indicators for current time, battery power, signal strength, network connectivity, ringtone settings, and other system information. NOTE: The Status bar hides the icons after a short period of time. To display the icons, touch the Status bar.
