Option Description This option is set to Thorough by default. Table 8. Virtualization Support Option Virtualization VT for Direct I/O Description This option specifies whether a Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided by Intel® Virtualization Technology. Enable Intel Virtualization Technology - This option is disabled by default. Enables or disables the Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) from utilizing the additional hardware capabilities provided by Intel® Virtualization technology for direct I/O. Enable Intel Virtualization Technology for Direct I/O - This option is disabled by default. Table 9. Maintenance Option Service Tag Asset Tag SERR Messages Description Displays the Service Tag of your computer. Allows you to create a system asset tag if an asset tag is not already set. This option is not set by default. Controls the SERR message mechanism. This option is not set by default. Some graphics cards require that the SERR message mechanism be disabled. Table 10. Image Server Option Lookup Method ImageServer IP ImageServer Port Client DHCP Description Specifies how the ImageServer looks up the server address. • Static IP • DNS (enabled by default) NOTE: This field is only relevant when the "Integrated NIC" control in the "System Configuration" group is set to "Enabled with ImageServer". Specifies the primary static IP address of the ImageServer with which the client software communicates. The default IP address is 255.255.255.255. NOTE: This field is only relevant when the "Integrated NIC" control in the "System Configuration" group is set to "Enabled with ImageServer" and when "Lookup Method" is set to "Static IP". Specifies the primary IP port of the ImageServer with which the client communicates. The default IP port is 06910. NOTE: This field is only relevant when the "Integrated NIC" control in the "System Configuration" group is set to "Enabled with ImageServer". Specifies how the client obtains the IP address. • Static IP • DNS (enabled by default) 40
