6. Remove the drive cage from the computer. Installing the Drive Cage 1. Place the drive cage on the edge of the computer near the front bezel to allow access to the cable connectors on the hard drive. 2. Connect the data cable and power cable to the back of the hard drive. 3. Flip over the drive cage and insert it into the chassis. 4. Connect the data cable and power cable to the back of the optical drive. 5. Install the front bezel. 6. Install the cover. 7. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer. 11

Remove the drive cage from the computer.
Installing the Drive Cage
1.
Place the drive cage on the edge of the computer near the front bezel to allow access to the cable connectors on
the hard drive.
2.
Connect the data cable and power cable to the back of the hard drive.
3.
Flip over the drive cage and insert it into the chassis.
4.
Connect the data cable and power cable to the back of the optical drive.
5.
Install the front bezel.
6.
Install the cover.
