Environment and System Requirements All PowerStore deployment models must meet the following environment and system requirements. Host Configuration requirements For host connectivity to PowerStore appliances, please refer to the Dell EMC PowerStore Host Configuration Guide at: https://www.dell.com/powerstoredocs Installation and Upgrade Considerations Installation considerations Review the PowerStore Deployment Checklis before you install a PowerStore Cluster. When you have completed all the planning steps in the PowerStore Deployment Checklist, you are ready to install your system. The PowerStore Deployment Checklist can be downloaded from https://www.dell.com/powerstoredocs. Upgrade considerations Review the PowerStore Software Upgrade Guide before you upgrade a PowerStore Cluster. The PowerStore Software Upgrade Guide can be downloaded from: https://www.dell.com/powerstoredocs. Note: A PowerStore Non-disruptive upgrade (NDU) is supported with Solaris native MPxIO starting at 11.4 SRU 35. Contact your service provider for NDU support on earlier Solaris versions or Solaris updates. Download the software upgrade packages for the PowerStore cluster The PowerStore software upgrade packages are available for download from the Dell Support Site. However, the software upgrade packages can only be accessed when you are logged into the Dell Support Site using an account that is associated with the PowerStore cluster. 1. To access the Dell Support Site, open a browser and go to https://www.dell.com/support. 2. If you are not logged into the Dell Support Site, click Sign In and log in using an account that is associated with the PowerStore cluster. 3. Type PowerStore in the Search support text box and select the model number of the PowerStore cluster from the list that is displayed. 4. Click Drivers & Downloads on the PowerStore support page. 5. Select Released: Newest from the Sort by drop-down menu to sort the downloads from newest to oldest. 6. Identify the PowerStore software upgrade package to download and click Download.
