Workstation requirements Once you complete the physical installation process, plan to have a Windows-based workstation or virtual machine for discovering the appliances and begin initial configuration. Ensure that the workstation or virtual machine meet the following requirements: ● Running Microsoft ® Windows ® 10 operating system. ● Includes at least one Ethernet/RJ-45 network port. ● Includes the latest version of one of the following Web browsers: ○ Google Chrome ○ Mozilla Firefox ○ Microsoft Edge ○ Apple Safari PowerStore Discovery Utility If you do not have access to the base enclosure that you want to configure, you must download and run the PowerStore Discovery Utility. The PowerStore Discovery Utility enables you to find unconfigured PowerStore T model and PowerStore X model appliances on the network, and initiate the initial configuration process to configure a cluster. Download this utility from the Dell support site at https://www.dell.com/support.
