Installing a Power Supply/Cooling Fan Module CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product. 1 Slide the power supply/cooling fan module into the chassis until it is fully seated and the release tab clicks into place. See Figure 16-11. 2 Connect the power cable to the power supply/cooling fan module and plug the cable into a power outlet. 3 Secure the power cable using the Velcro strap. See Figure 16-12. NOTE: If the array is powered on, all the power supply LEDs remain off until the AC power cable is connected to the power supply/cooling fan module and the power switch is turned on. 4 Turn on the power supply/cooling fan module. 214 Management: Installing Array Components
