Coin-Cell Battery Removing The Coin-Cell Battery 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer. 2. Remove the Secure Digital (SD) card. 3. Remove the base cover. 4. Remove the battery. 5. Remove the card-reader board. 6. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board. 7. Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer. Removing The Coin-Cell Battery
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working on Your Computer

2.
Remove the
Secure Digital (SD) card
.
3.
Remove the
base cover
.
4.
Remove the
battery
.
5.
Remove the
card-reader board
.
6.
Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.
7.
Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer.
