Keyboard Removing The Keyboard 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer. 2. Remove the Secure Digital (SD) card. 3. Remove the base cover. 4. Remove the battery. 5. Remove the LED cover. 6. Remove the screws that secure keyboard to the computer. 7. Flip the keyboard over and lay it on the palm rest. 8. Lift the clip to release the keyboard cable and disconnect it from the computer. 9. Lift the keyboard up and away from the computer. 47

Removing The Keyboard
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working On Your Computer

Remove the
Secure Digital (SD) card

3.
Remove the
base cover
.
4.
Remove the
battery
.
5.
Remove the
LED cover
.
6.
Remove the screws that secure keyboard to the computer.
7.
Flip the keyboard over and lay it on the palm rest.
8.
Lift the clip to release the keyboard cable and disconnect it from the computer.
9.
Lift the keyboard up and away from the computer.
