FADER INPUT FINALIZE 1 Perform the operation of "Manual recording" on Page 16, perform the settings of the input jacks and the recording level, and set the stop mode. Perform the procedure at "Setup Method (2) Setting the Synchro Recording Mode" on Page 11 and select the disc 2 synchro mode or the make CD mode. • The "SYNC" indication will light. 3 Press the record button (4 REC). • The recording pause mode is set and "Disc Synchro" or "Make CD" is displayed. Use a CD player, cassette deck or other source to play the tracks that you wish to record. 4 • Recording will start automatically. • In the make CD mode, finalization is performed automatically after recording stops. ✽ Please also see "Setup Method (3) Setting the Synchro Recording Level" on Page 11. • To stop synchro recording, press the stop button. NOTE: • If you wish to input text data, select the "Disc Synchro" mode. With CD-R discs, text data cannot be input after the disc has been finalized. 3. Synchronized recording of the single track (1Tr SYNCHRO) 5 This mode is used to record only one track. 5 Please also see "Setup Method (3) Setting the Synchro Recording Level" on Page 11. Perform the operation of "Setup Method (2) Setting the Synchro Recording Mode" on Page 11 and select the track 2 synchro mode. • The "1Tr SYNC" indication lights. 3 Press the record button (4 REC). • This sets the record-pause mode and displays "1Tr Synchro". Use a CD player, cassette deck or other source to play the tracks that you wish to record. 4 • Recording will start automatically. ✽ Please also see "Setup Method (3) Setting the Synchro Recording Level" on Page 11. • To stop synchro recording, press the stop button. • If there is a soundless section of 3 seconds or more, recording stops when the next track starts. • Recording stops if there is a soundless section of 10 seconds or more. 18
