English SYMPTOM CAUSE Drive blade continues to get stuck in Jammed nail and driver blade is stuck in down position down position. Damaged or worn return springs. Damaged or worn profile. Debris in nosepiece. Tool operates but does not drive fasteners fully Depth adjust set too shallow. Tool not firmly applied to workpiece. Material and fastener length. Tool operates, but no fastener is driven Jammed nail Damaged or worn profile. Damaged actuation mechanism. No nails in magazine. Wrong size or angle nails. Debris in nosepiece. Debris in magazine. Worn magazine. Damaged or worn return springs. Damaged or worn profile. Wrong size or angle nails. Magazine screws not secured after previous jam clear/inspection. Material and fastener length. Debris in nosepiece. Worn magazine. Damaged or worn return springs. Damaged or worn profile. FIX Use stall release lever, clear any jammed nails, and return driver blade manually if necessary. Replace springs. Refer to DCN6901 Return Spring Replacement Kit or see authorized service center. Replace profile. Refer to Replacing the Profile or see authorized service center. Clean nose area and watch closely for small pieces of broken nails stuck in the track. Rotate depth adjust to a deeper setting. Apply adequate force to tool securing it tightly to workpiece See instruction manual. If the unit continues to stall (forcing the need to rotate the stall release lever) choose the appropriate material and fastener length that is not too rigorous of an application. Replace profile. Refer to Replacing the Profile or see authorized service center. See authorized service center. Load nails in magazine. Use only the recommended nails Refer to Nail Specifications. Clean nose area and watch closely for small pieces of broken nails stuck in the track. Clean magazine. Replace magazine. See authorized service center. Replace springs.
