Unloader Blow-Off Pressure: All models are continuous running units controlled by air tank pressure. When the maximum air tank pressure is obtained, the unloader valve will blow-off. This will cause the compressor to exhaust the air to the atmosphere and not the tank. This decreases the load on the engine and allows it to run at a near no-load condition. Unloader Reset Pressure: When the air tank pressure drops to a predetermined point, the unloader valve closes. The air tank pressure will now increase until it reaches the unloader blow-off pressure. 23
