3-4-4 WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Settings WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) provides a convenient way to establish the connection between this broadband router and wireless clients. Any WPS-compatible wireless clients can establish secure connection with this broadband router with simple push-button type configuration or PinCode type configuration. Here are descriptions of every setup items: Item Name Enable WPS WPS Status Self PIN code SSID Authentication Mode Passphrase Key Config Mode Description Check this box to enable WPS function, uncheck it to disable WPS. If the wireless security (encryption) function of this wireless router is properly set, you'll see 'Configured' message here. If wireless security function has not been set, you'll see 'unConfigured'. This is the WPS PIN code of this wireless router. This code is useful when you need to build wireless connection by WPS with other WPS-enabled wireless devices. The SSID of this wireless router will be displayed here. The wireless security authentication mode of this wireless router will be displayed here. The WPA passphrase will be displayed as asterisk here.
