Installing the Printer Software The steps you follow to install the USB printer driver software depend on whether you've already installed a printer driver for your printer, or whether you're performing a new installation. If you've already installed a printer driver, follow the steps below. If not, follow the steps on page 24. Note: The USB printer driver software works best with a Windows 98 system that has not been upgraded from Windows 95. If you've already installed a printer driver for your EPSON printer You need to delete the printer driver's INF file before you install the USB printer driver. Deleting the INF file for the old printer driver 1 Click Start, point to Programs, and select Windows Explorer. 2 Open your Windows directory. If you see an Inf folder, go to step 5. Installing the Printer Software
The steps you follow to install the USB printer driver software depend on
whether you’ve already installed a printer driver for your printer, or whether
you’re performing a new installation. If you’ve already installed a printer
driver, follow the steps below. If not, follow the steps on page 24.
Note:
The USB printer driver software works best with a Windows 98 system that
has not been upgraded from Windows 95.
If you’ve already installed a printer driver for your EPSON printer
You need to delete the printer driver’s INF file before you install the USB
printer driver.
Deleting the INF file for the old printer driver

Windows Explorer
.

Open your Windows directory. If you see an Inf folder, go to step 5.
