You Can't Access Data on a Diskette Remove the diskette and make sure it is inserted with the label facing up. Make sure the diskette is either 720KB or 1.44MB. If the write-protect switch is set, and you are trying to save a file to the diskette, either use a different diskette, or move the writeprotect switch If the diskette is damaged, use a backup copy to repeat the operation. If you need the files on the original diskette, try copying one file at a time. Try cleaning the diskette drive heads. See "Cleaning the Diskette Drive" in Chapter 4.
