Status and Error Messages This section describes the meaning of messages displayed on the LCD screen. The table below describes the status messages. Message Cancel Charging ink Cleaning Please wait Printing Ready Power save Power off Description The print job is canceled. The printer is charging the ink. The printer is cleaning the print head. The printer is starting. The printer is initializing the settings. The printer is processing data. The printer is ready to print. The printer is in the power save mode. The printer is shutting down. The table below contains error messages, a brief description of each message and suggestions for correcting the problem. Message Problem Service call see guide Service call error occurs. Printer near end of service life Parts inside the printer are at the end of their service life. Nozzle maint error see Print head nozzles are clogged or guide misaligned. Solutions Turn off the printer and then back on. If the error does not clear, contact Epson. & See "Where To Get Help" on page 182.
