Chapter 1 Product Overview Periodic auto cleaning A periodic auto cleaning can be executed to maintain the printer heads in good condition. A periodic auto cleaning takes 2 to 30 minutes. No printing can be performed during the cleaning. You can set the time for implementation of periodic auto cleaning. If periodic auto cleaning implementation time setting is disabled, periodic auto cleaning will be implemented at a time that the printer judges necessary, for example when a fixed time has elapsed since the previous periodic auto cleaning.  If the power is off at the time you set, the periodic auto cleaning will be implemented the next time the power is turned on.  Periodic auto cleaning may sometimes be implemented when the power is turned on after 1 having been off for an extended period. 25
