Installing the C82WN Software Your printer CD-ROM includes the following software: ■ EPSON Stylus C82WN printer driver You must install the printer driver on every computer that uses the EPSON Stylus C82WN printer. This software controls print settings and provides several utilities for printer maintenance. For instructions on using your printer driver, see the Printer Basics book. ■ EPSON Status Monitor This program keeps track of the ink levels in the printer and notifies you when paper runs out or gets jammed. ■ WP-Admin This utility lets you configure the print server for your network. You only need to install it on one computer, and in most cases, it is the only configuration utility you need to install. ■ EpsonNet Direct Print This software, which sets up a network printer port, must be installed on every Windows Me, 98, or 95 computer that uses the printer. ■ EPSON Software™ Film Factory™ This photo management program lets you organize, beautify, and print your photos in a flash. ■ EPSON Printer Information Center This program includes Print Show animated tutorials and a comprehensive reference guide for your printer. ■ XAdmin32 This utility lets you configure the print server for a Novell® NetWare network and perform more advanced configuration for other protocols. ■ Your print server also comes with a built-in web-based configuration utility, which enables you to change configuration settings from any computer on the wireless network that supports a standard web browser. You must configure the print server using WP-Admin or XAdmin32 before you can use this utility. Note: To use the print server's built-in configuration utility, just start your web browser and enter the print server's IP address in the browser's Address box. Your printer CD-ROM includes the following software:
