Paper is Not Cut Cleanly Symptoms / Problem Condition Paper is Not Cut Cleanly Verification Method / Countermeasures Is the autocutter dirty? If the fixed blade of the autocutter is dirty, clean the blade. For details, see "Cleaning the Autocutter" on page 169. Cannot Read Barcode Symptoms / Problem Condition Verification Method / Countermeasures Barcode cannot be read Is the barcode reader properly connected? Verify that the barcode reader is properly connected to a USB connector on the rear of the product. For details, see "Connecting the Cable" on page 37. If the print data contains the graphic data of a barcode, is the barcode reduced? If the barcode is reduced, lines may be faint and spaces may be crushed, and as a result, it may not be read correctly. Is the barcode difficult to read? Print the barcode in cyan only.
