Initial Settings This section describes the OS setting procedure when the power of the product is turned on for the first time. 1 When the power of the product is turned on for the first time, the Windows Setup screen is displayed for a period of time. 2 The "License Agreement" screen will be displayed. Verify the contents and select "I accept this agreement". Click the [Next] button. 3 Windows settings such as the network driver will be automatically set. Set the product's network settings, such as the IP address, after the setup is complete. 4 The main unit will automatically restart. 5 After the product restarts, select [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Date and Time] and display "Date and Time Properties". Set the date, time, and time zone. Once the initial settings are complete, load the ink cartridge and perform ink charging. (See "Loading the Ink Cartridge" on page 47.) 46

Initial Settings
This section describes the OS setting procedure when the power of the product is turned on for the first
time.

When the power of the product is turned on for the first time, the Win-
dows Setup screen is displayed for a period of time.

The "License Agreement" screen will be displayed. Verify the contents
and select "I accept this agreement".
Click the [Next] button.

Windows settings such as the network driver will be automatically set.
Set the product's network settings, such as the IP address, after the setup is complete.
