Light status Problem and solution The left network light is flashing and the P power light is flashing Printer is receiving data or printing while connected to a network The left network light is on The wireless LAN is connected The right network light is on The Ethernet LAN is connected The right network light is flashing An error occurred during WPS/AOSS push button setup. Adjust your settings and try again. Move the printer closer to the access point. Make sure the access point is also in setup mode. An attempt was made to connect to a wireless network while an Ethernet cable was connected. Remove the Ethernet cable before attempting to connect to a wireless network. Both network lights are flashing simultaneously WPS PIN code entry is in progress or the printer is preparing a firmware update Both network lights are flashing alternately WPS push-button setup is in progress or the printer is starting up The H ink light is on An ink cartridge is expended or not installed correctly, or is not compatible with the printer. Replace or reinstall the cartridge (see page 31). The H ink light is flashing Ink in a cartridge is low.
