CNX 3000 Users Manual Discovery of Modules The term "discovery" in this manual refers to a procedure the Product does to look for compatible radio signals emitted by CNX 3000 Series Wireless Modules. The term bind or bound means the Product has made a wireless connection to a module. Before you start the discovery procedure, make sure the radio in each module to bind to is turned on.  must show in the display of each module. When you first turn on the Product, the radio is off. When the Product completes the discovery procedure,  stops flashing in the display. Note If modules are not discovered after 2 minutes, the radio turns off. At the end of the discovery procedure, all discovered modules shown in the display have a black number on a grey background. See Figure 9. This shows the modules to which the Product is bound. Although the display can only show three modules, the Product can discover and temporarily bind to a maximum of 10 modules. Note To bind a module to the Product after the discovery procedure has completed, you must turn off the radio. Discovery of Modules
