Problem/Question My computer never detects the GPSMAP 620 when I connect it. I cannot see any new removable drives in my list of drives. How can I find restaurants near the hotel I will be staying at in the future? Solution/Answer 1. Unplug the USB cable from your computer. 2. Turn off the GPSMAP 620. 3. Plug the USB cable into a USB port on your computer and into your GPSMAP 620. The GPSMAP 620 automatically turns on and goes into USB mass storage mode. Ensure your GPSMAP 620 is connected to a USB port and not a USB hub. If you have several network drives mapped on your computer, Windows can have trouble assigning drive letters to your GPSMAP 620 drives. See your operating system Help file to learn how to map or assign drive letters. 1. Touch Where To? > Near > A Different City. 2. Find the hotel, and touch Go!. 3. Touch Menu > Where To? > Near > My Destination. 4. Search for a restaurant. Restaurants nearest your hotel are listed first.
