Speakers Description Speakers (includes left and right speakers and cable) Spare part number 757612-001 Before removing the speakers, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 49), and then remove the following components: ● Service cover (see Service cover on page 55) ● Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 57) ● Top cover (see Top cover on page 60) ● WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 71) ● USB board (see USB board on page 67 ● Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 68 ● System board (see System board on page 83 To remove the speakers: 1. The right speaker was removed when removing the hard drive (Hard drive on page 68). 2. Remove the two Phillips broadhead PM2.0×2.0 screws (1) that secure the left speaker to the computer. Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

), and then remove the following components:
