Removing the battery To remove a primary battery: 1. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface, with the battery bay toward you. 2. Slide the right-hand battery release latch 1 to the right, and then release the latch. 3. Slide and hold the left-hand battery release latch 2 to the right. 4. Remove the battery 3 from the computer.
