Probable Cause Indicates that the Kernel mode setting for F_Port authentication failed. Device authentication will be defaulted to OFF, and switch will not participate in Diffie Hellman - challenge handshake authentication protocol (DH-CHAP) authentication with devices. Probable Cause Indicates authentication has timed out after multiple retries. The specified port has been disabled as a result. This problem may be transient due to the system's central processing unit (CPU) load. In addition, a defective small form-factor pluggable (SFP) or faulty cable may have caused the failure.
