The HP PC communications board is suitable for household, office and similar general indoor use. The HP PC communications board is not suitable for use as an extension to a payphone. The HP PC communications board must only be used on telephone lines which provide multifrequency (DTMF) dialing. Please be aware that it is the HP PC communications board which has been approved, and not the host computer in which it is installed.
