4.2.8 Printing Path for MAC In order to access the printing path: • Go to "File->Print". • Select your printer in the "Printer" field • Change the drop-down menu "General" to "Adobe PhotoShop 5.5". The window below will appear: • Select "Encoding" to Binary • Enable the "PostScript Color Management" check box (with that option you are letting the printer take control of the color pipeline of the printing path) • Select the Space of your document (what you selected as ICC Input Profile). SWOP for proofing in US as is shown in the screen shot) To complete the printing path, you need to access the printer specific settings by changing "Adobe PhotoShop 5.5" tab to "Printer Specific Options".
