9. Remove battery (5). Reverse this procedure to install the battery. Subwoofer Description Subwoofer (includes cable and rubber isolators) Spare part number 665928-001 Before removing the subwoofer, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 39). Remove the subwoofer: 1. Disconnect the subwoofer cable (1) from the system board. 2. Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×6.5 shoulder screws (2) that secure the subwoofer to the computer. NOTE: When removing the front speakers, make note of the location of the three isolators (3) that are installed in the screw holes. ENWW Component replacement procedures 41

Remove the subwoofer:
1.
Disconnect the subwoofer cable

from the system board.
2.

the computer.
NOTE:
