3 Interface Boards and Mass-Storage Drives Matrox Millennium II Video Controller Board Matrox Millennium II Video Controller Board All models are supplied with a Matrox Millennium AGP video card fitted in the AGP accessory slot. It has the same features as the Millennium II PCI video card supplied with the HP Vectra VL 6/xxx series PC, except that there is no VESA connector. Its on-board MGA-2064W processor communicates directly with the Pentium II processor along the AGP bus. The controller can be characterized as follows: • Support for up to 16 MB Window RAM (WRAM) at 50 ns • External 64-bit, 220 MHz RAMDAC • Pixel clock maximum frequency of 250 MHz • Acceleration for 3D (texture mapping, Gouraud shading) • Improved video scalar operations (continuous interpolation on X and Y) • 32-bit Z buffer for CAD and OpenGL (16-bit mode is still supported) • Bus mastering with scatter gather. • ATX and NLX form factor compliant. 4 MB installed memory chips Graphics processor chips Top and bottom halves of the upgrade socket.
