● Check that the O-rings in the primer ports are not broken or damaged. Replace the primer if any O-ring is missing or dented. ● Grease the printhead primers. See Grease the printhead primers on page 208. If none of these actions resolve the problem, call your service representative. If you see any other primer-related system error (0088-00XX-YYZZ or 1088-00XX-YYZZ) run the primer diagnostic test from the diagnostic widget to confirm the cause of the error, and call your service representative with the test results at hand. Printhead health troubleshooting There are two ways to check the status of the printheads: the printhead status plot and the nozzle health check in maintenance. Always use both, as they provide complementary information. They identify any blocked printhead nozzles. Printhead status plot You are recommended to print this plot on a transparent flexible substrate. Otherwise, the colors may not be sufficiently visible. To print the printhead diagnostic plot, go to the Internal Print Server and tap Printheads replace > Hard clean > Print diagnostic plot. ENWW Printheads 263
