Configuration Power Budgeting Power Budgeting If the workstation application requires several accessory cards and mass storage devices, power budgeting may be required. This ensures the power needed for these internal devices does not exceed the power available: Devices • Model 744 VMEbus Board Computer, • Mass storage devices, • VME, EISA, or PCI accessory cards • Standard internal printed circuit boards The Model 748 ruggedized workstation uses two power supplies. Each power supply provides voltages to the workstation modules and accessory card slots as listed in Table 3-3 through Table 3-7. These tables are also worksheets to use in determining your power budget. You can copy these tables to have as many copies as you need. 3-2
