Introduction DDS-2 Drive The HP C1533A implements the DDS-2 format. This includes all of the features of the DDS-1 and DDS-DC formats, plus the ability to read and write with much higher capacity as follows: • Reads and writes using DDS-1 and DDS-DC formats when using DDS-1 media (60 m and 90 m). Has all of the features of the DDS-1 and DDS-DC formats. • Reads and writes with much higher capacity when using DDS-2 media (120 m).
