Extended BIOS and Embedded Testing Capabilities An embedded MIC BIOS testing capability was introduced in Release 3.0. This embedded capability verifies that the HP NetServer AA Solution interconnects are functioning, and it enables you to view changes in the BIOS settings. Redirected Video Support and the CE Desktop Application Starting with Release 3.0, once the CEs pass POST and the text phase of the Windows NT boot process, CE video display is redirected onto the IOPs. Monitors are required for the CEs during flashing of the MICs and for BIOS setup.
