Note Note To begin scanner configuration 1 From the JetAdmin software main window, select the scanner you want to modify. If you don't see the scanner listed, press the [F5] key to refresh (update) the window. 2 From the Device menu, choose Modify, or click the Modify icon on the toolbar. The Configuration for HP Network ScanJet 5 Scanner dialog box appears. 3 Enter information on the tabs of the Configuration dialog box. 4 Click OK to close the dialog box (or Finish if you are in Interview mode). The changes take effect. The information included in this chapter describes how to configure the scanner initially. Please refer to online Help for information regarding how to maintain the configuration. Now that you have installed the scanner software, you will need to use the HP JetAdmin software to connect the scanner to the network. To begin scanner configuration

From the JetAdmin software main window, select the scanner you want
to modify.
Note
If you don’t see the scanner listed, press the
[F5]
key to refresh (update)
the window.

menu, choose

box appears.
