Insert connector
The fax/phone line con-
nector has been removed.
(This is the connector to
which your phone cords
are attached. It fits into
the back of the HP
OfficeJet.)
The HP OfficeJet can’t
send or receive faxes until
the connector is replaced.
For safety, press the
On/Off
button to turn off the HP
OfficeJet before re-installing the
fax/phone line connector.
Re-install the fax/phone line
connector.

HP OfficeJet
Series 500 Ready/Setup/Go
guide.
Press the
On/Off
button to
turn on the HP OfficeJet, then
click the
Reconnect now
button
on your computer screen.
Load A-size paper, then
press START.

rower width than the
paper size that’s needed
for receiving faxes or
printing.
