5. Release the top edge of the keyboard by lifting it up to disengage the keyboard from the tabs on the top cover (1) and tilt the keyboard forward onto the palm rest. 6. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (2) to which the keyboard cable is attached and disconnect the keyboard cable (3) from the system board. Remove the keyboard (4).
