TV tuner module NOTE: The TV tuner module spare part kit does not include a TV tuner module cable. The TV tuner module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 533466-001. NOTE: The TV tuner external antenna cable with PAL back is available using spare part number 482900-002. Description Spare part number DVB-T TV tuner module (for use only with computers equipped with discrete graphics memory) 482899-003 Before removing the TV tuner module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 48). 5. Remove the memory module compartment cover (see Memory module on page 53). Remove the TV tuner module: 1. Disconnect the TV tuner module antenna cable (1) from the terminal on the TV tuner module. 2. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw (2) that secures the TV tuner module to the computer. 3. Lift the edge of the TV tuner module (3), and pull the module away from the slot at an angle. NOTE: The TV tuner module is designed with a notch (4) to prevent incorrect insertion into the TV tuner module slot. Reverse this procedure to install the TV tuner module. Before removing the TV tuner module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

on page
48
).
5.
Remove the memory module compartment cover (see
Memory module
on page
53
).
Remove the TV tuner module:
1.
Disconnect the TV tuner module antenna cable
(1)
from the terminal on the TV tuner module.
2.
Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw
(2)
that secures the TV tuner module to the computer.
3.
Lift the edge of the TV tuner module
(3)
, and pull the module away from the slot at an angle.
NOTE:
The TV tuner module is designed with a notch
