• Maintenance system - purging manifold, vacuum knife pistons, and maintenance bath lifting pistons The required pressure for the compressed air is 6 bars with a minimum flow rate of 120 liters/min (4.3 cfm). Main pressure regulator Compressed air supply connection Figure 2-30 Compressed Air Main Pressure Regulator Vacuum System The main functions of the vacuum system are: • Holding the substrate on the printing table - a unique vacuum system, especially designed to apply vacuum to the vacuum printing table along the X-axis (see Printing Table on page 15). • Cleaning the print heads - as part of the maintenance system, a vacuum knife is used to clean the print heads (see Vacuum Knife on page 37). 34 HP Scitex FB7500 Advanced Printer Guide
