Connector board cable Description Connector board cable Spare part number 906784-001 Before removing the connector board cable, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 28). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30). Remove the connector board cable: 1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the connector board cable is attached, and then disconnect the connector board cable from the system board. 2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the connector board cable is attached, and then disconnect the connector board cable from the connector board. 3. Remove the connector board cable (3). Before removing the connector board cable, follow these steps:
1.

Remove the connector board cable:
1.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the connector board cable is attached, and then disconnect
the connector board cable from the system board.
2.
Release the ZIF connector

to which the connector board cable is attached, and then disconnect
the connector board cable from the connector board.
3.
Remove the connector board cable

Reverse this procedure to install the connector board cable.
