HP does not recommend using Static in a generic client profile because it will cause all thin clients to receive the same IP address. If set to 1, automatic connection to the network is enabled. Sets the link speed of the primary Ethernet network interface. Automatic allows the fastest available link speed to be used, which is usually 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps/full depending on the switch. The link speed can be forced to a combination of a single speed (100 Mbps or 10 Mbps) and duplex mode (Full or Half) to support switches and hubs that do not perform auto-negotiation. Sets the IPv4 address of the client. This setting takes effect only if Method is set to Static. Sets the default gateway that the device uses to communicate with the Internet.
