New Local User Account Ä CAUTION: Be sure to flush the write filter cache during the boot session in which these settings are made. New user accounts are created by running a user manager utility (such as Microsoft's Musrmgr) on the terminal. You must be logged-on as administrator, which you can do locally or remotely via VNC. The user manager utility can be accessed from an NT 4.0 server on the network. If the user manager is used often you could map a network drive so that the utility is readily available. After creating the new user account, log on as that user and make the recommended changes listed in the following sections. ✎ The settings for Internet Explorer and Citrix are strongly recommended in order to prevent unnecessary writing of data to drive C: and to limit the amount of data being retained. 18 Quick Reference Guide
