Troubleshooting Problem The picture appears red, purple, pink and other colours. Picture distorted or appears wavy. Possible Solutions • Press button on your remote control and select Settings > Picture > Picture Mode Settings > Expert Settings > White Balance. You can try to increase or decrease the White Balance. • Some electrical appliances may affect the console. If you turn off the appliance and the interference goes away, then move it further away from console. • Insert the power plug of the console into another power outlet. Related information There is no picture, or the picture is black and white. on page 48 Sound Issues When the console has a sound problem, these steps may help resolve the problem. Press button on your remote control and select Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test. If the console plays the Sound Test melody without distortion, there may be a problem with an external device or the broadcast signal's strength. Problem Picture is normal, but no sound. Possible Solutions • Check the volume settings. • Check if 'Mute' mode is set to on. • Check the volume control of the device (cable or satellite box, DVD, Blu- ray, etc.) connected to your console. The speakers are making an odd sound. Sound is distorted. • Make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device. • Some electrical appliances may affect the console. If you turn off the appliance and the interference goes away, then move it further away from console. • Insert the power plug of the console into another power outlet.
