3. Continue to turn the the top half of the trimmer head until the triangles (C) align. 8. Pull the trimmer line through the trimmer head until there is an equal length of trimmer line on each side. 9. Hold the trimmer head lower half stable with one hand. 10. Use your opposite hand to turn the top half counterclockwise. C 4. Remove and discard the remaining trimmer line, if there is. 5. Cut approximately 5.5 m/18 ft of new trimmer line. 6. Put one end of the trimmer line into one of the holes. 7. Push the trimmer line through the trimmer head and through the opposite hole. 11. Continue to turn the knob until approximately 127 mm/5 in of trimmer line is extended from each hole. Keypad LED display Green LED flashing X X Troubleshooting Possible faults Low battery power. Possible action Charge the battery. Battery Condition The battery warning LED flashes. Possible faults Temperature deviation, the battery is too cold or too hot to use. The battery is empty. Possible procedure Let the battery cool down or move it indoors to warm it up. When the battery has the correct temperature, it can be used again.
