Error code Description Action 301 Keyboard or keyboard 1. If you have installed a USB keyboard, run the controller error. Configuration/Setup Utility program and enable keyboardless operation to prevent the POST error message 301 from being displayed during startup. 2. Reseat the keyboard. 3. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time. a. Keyboard b. (Trained service technician only) I/O board 303 Keyboard controller error. (Trained service technician only) Replace the I/O board. 00019xxx Microprocessor x is not functioning or failed the built-in self-test. 1. Reseat the microprocessor/memory card containing microprocessor x. 2. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time. a. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program to verify that the interrupt resource settings are correct. 4. Reseat the failing adapter (if installed). 5. (Trained service technician only) I/O board 012980xx 012981xx No update data for microprocessor x. 1. Update the BIOS code. 2. Reseat the microprocessor/memory card containing microprocessor xx. 3. Run the hard disk drive diagnostic test. 3. Reseat the hard disk drive. 4. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time. a. Hard disk drive b.
