Read this user guide carefully before installing your television, then keep it near your television for quick reference. Verify that the box contains: • Color television • Remote control • User Guide If any item is missing or damaged, contact Insignia at (877) 467-4289. Keep the box and packing materials so that you can store or transport your television. Universal remote control If you purchase a universal remote control from your local retailer, contact the remote manufacturer for the required programming code. TV/Cable mode selection When shipped from the factory, the TV/CABLE menu option is set to the CABLE (Cable Television) mode. If you are not using Cable TV, set this menu option to the TV position. Caution To prevent electric shock, do not use this polarized plug with an extension cord, receptacle, or other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade exposure.
